Setting Up Microsoft Authenticator

Microsoft Authenticator protects your organization's resources from attacks by requiring that you verify your identity using 

When signing in to your account, you may be prompted with the following message requiting you to enroll Microsoft Authenticator:

1. Choose "Next" on the "Action Required" message
2. Choose "Next" on the "Keep your account secure" screen

3. Download the Microsoft Authenticator app on your smartphone

Microsoft Authenticator for Android 

4. Choose "Next" on the following message:

5. Open the Microsoft Authenticator app on your smartphone and choose the "+" icon from the upper right hand corner

6. When prompted, choose that you would like to add a "Work or school account"

7. Choose that you would like to add the account via QR code

8. Use your smartphone to scan the QR code on your computer screen and choose "Next"
9. Approve the request for authentication on your smartphone and enter the number seen on your computer screen

10. Congratulations, you have now enrolled in Microsoft Authenticator!
