In rare circumstances, the 1Password browser extension may not function as expected. When it is not functioning, you may experience the following:
- 1Password autofill does not appear on websites with saved passwords
- Unable to click the 1Password extension in the browser
- Autofill does not resume working after a browser restart
To resolve the issue, perform the following:
- Click on the 1Password icon on the top right of your browser, then choose Remove from [Browser]
- Confirm removal, when prompted
- Re-install the browser extension. Links to install the extension in all major browsers can be found here: https://1password.com/downloads/browser-extension
- Click Get to install the extension
- Follow the on-screen steps to set up 1Password
- When prompted, pin the extension to the toolbar. To do this, click on the extensions icon, then choose the pin icon.
